About Rocky Point
Ice Cream
Rocky Point Ice Cream started out in 1997 as a summer ice cream shop operating out of a tiny kiosk. Their ice cream was provided by another small batch operator in Vancouver and together they would come up with new flavours including their famous K9 Doggie Ice Cream. When owners Jamie & Yvette Cuthbert had an opportunity to expand their building and operation, they jumped at it and finally had the space to make their own small batch ice cream.
They always wanted to make their own ice cream for numerous reasons. They wanted to have total control over the quality of their product and work with local businesses to source as many products as possible locally. Rocky Point Ice Cream’s dedication to quality is endless and the team are always striving to perfect their recipes, improve their impact on the environment through waste and packaging management, and source more and more ingredients locally (currently over 90% of Rocky Point Ice Cream ingredients are sourced locally).
